Grant Imahara first entered the public eye as a BattleBots competitor with his middleweight robot 'Deadblow' - competing in the inaugural 1999 Long Beach tournament and all five seasons of the televised BattleBots series on Comedy Central. Events of interest include Battlebots, Robot Wars, Russia's Bitva Robotov (fightbots), Robogames, Thailand's Seacon War of Steel, Fighting My Bots (FMB), King of Bots (KOB) and Bugglebots. As I mentioned in my previous post, and as has been made no secret, the reigning champion and three-time Giant Nut winner Bite Force won’t be competing at BattleBots 2020.
