Rotator started dishing out multiple hits to Splatter, tearing open Splatter's side and leaving it to drive in circles. Splatter took advantage of The Disk O' Inferno's weapon problems by flipping it over. Rotator continued to maneuver around before The Disk O' Inferno slammed it into the wall where the impact caused the Rotator's remaining spinning disc to collide with The Disk O' Inferno's and take a chunk out of it. Splatter came in and started to flip Rotator multiple times, trying to get it out of the arena. The rumble didn't start off that well for Rotator as it wasn't able to get much damage done and lost the use of one of its spinning blades. Rotator wasn't finished yet as it participated in a small rumble with The Disk O' Inferno and Splatter. Rotator unfortunately was not chosen to be a wild card meaning it was eliminated from the tournament. Because of this, Rotator was counted out and Witch Doctor the match by a quick KO. In the beginning, Witch Doctor immediately ripped a wheel off of Rotator and it couldn't move properly. For some reason, Rotator featured a spinning bar and a flywheel instead of two flywheels. The PPV was packaged into a Pilot that was used to pitch BattleBots to networks as a television series. Rotator's first ever match in BattleBots was against Witch Doctor. Although BattleBots didnt air its first season until 2000, there were two tournaments the year before: the first was a webcast, and the second was a PPV that added veteran boxing producer Lenny Stucker to the fold. Rotator was originally an alternate for the show, but was allowed in due to one of the many drop-outs which occurred at Season 2. It was armed with a spinning disc on the front top and bottom rear, making it a palindrome like its name.

Its builder Victor Soto also competed with the middleweight entrant Blue Flame for the NPC Charity Open in 2004 and the 2011 BattleBots competition. Rotator is a robot that competed in the second season of ABC's BattleBots reboot. It didn't do well in the competition as it lost its first match to Witch Doctor.
